That Pottery Barn storage cubby is my favorite piece in my craft room so it’s great to see it here–it really does have space for everything and I’d never have thought of it for a desk area but it definitely would be handy in a space like this.

Thank you so much for this–I love it! The idea to use wall sconces instead of a ceiling light is perfect, too–we’re always hitting the ceiling light because it’s in a really bad place (when we’re moving tall stuff in and out of the house). It never would have dawned on me to just get rid of it. And I love the idea of using a bench, too, especially one that has storage. Izzie, that’s a great idea to try ottomans instead of the bench, I think I’ll look at both when I go shopping this weekend. Thanks!
